Can’t figure 10% Indian, and I looked through google images where it appears majority of people’s results are similar. Looks like the gps part may be more accurate

For $39, I am not certain if my results were accurate, but this was one of the least expensive ancestry tests on the market. :) I noted that HomeDNA.com is associated with GPS Origins - Dr. Eran Elhaik of University of Sheffield. His team claims to have developed a unique algorithm to uncover deep migration patterns.

I received 3 population gene pools. Does this look reasonable for someone with possible high British ancestry at least for 500-600 years? ;)

Out of curiosity, what were the remaining pools (just to check my assumption). Thanks!

Well since they are using more ancient samples I think that the seperation (not long enough to show a big difference, genotypically) and mixing of some groups hasn't happened yet like in modern times, making some mutations more prevalent in some groups and less in others. So it might be a remnant of our common ancestors with the southeast Indians rather than a direct link to India :)

Well, I can only see one migration route in my online results, Migration B. :? I must be doing something wrong but have tried every link and button available. Anyhow, the algorithm seems off to not score your results much higher than mine in the Fenno-Scandian population pool. However, your Germany migration path seems appropriate.

Edit: My test result is for $39 raw DNA upload - GPS Origins only. However, the test description references 2 migration journeys so I will try to figure out what I am doing wrong on the website.
